  • PDF downloads: Not all of the PDF documents available for download are barrier-free. For some (especially older) documents, the source document is not available. These documents are not subsequently made accessible. We have set ourselves the goal of offering accessible PDF files as far as possible in the future.
  • Interactive map on the start page: The interactive map on the start page has no alternative text.
  • Low contrast of background and font: In a few cases, the contrast between the background and font color is not quite sufficient (blue button).

Conciliation procedure

If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above-mentioned contact option, you can apply to the arbitration board set up by the State Commissioner for People with Disabilities in Lower Saxony to initiate arbitration proceedings in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG).

The arbitration board according to § 9 d NBGG has the task of settling disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies of the state of Lower Saxony on the subject of accessibility in IT. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance is required.
